From Staff Reports
The Lost Chord, an Asheville-based Moody Blues tribute band, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Isis Music Hall in West Asheville. Doors open at 7 p.m.
The concert, saluting the 50th anniversary of the release of the Moody Blues’ iconic album, “In Search of the Lost Chord,” will feature a rendition of every song on the album.
“In Search of the Lost Chord” was the group’s third album and the first “on which the Moody Blues discovered drugs and mysticism as a basis for songwriting and came up with a compelling psychedelic creation, filled with songs about Timothy Leary and the astral plane and other psychedelic-era concerns,” according to AllMusic Review’s Bruce Eder.
