UNC Asheville has maintained its ranking as the nation’s eighth-best public liberal arts college in U.S. News & World Report’s new “2017 Best Colleges,” released online this past fall. 

The Asheville university also ranks 159th on the first tier of the national liberal arts colleges list, public and private.

In addition, UNCA ranks first in the nation for “Best Schools for Making an Impact” by The Princeton Review, where it also is listed as one of “The Best 381 Colleges.”
