 dirty-dancing-lead-photo05402.jpg Students with the Asheville Ballet & Dance Company perform a routine during the Dirty Dancing 2011 Festival Sept. 16-18 at Lake Lure. Hundreds of people attended the second annual celebration of the film “Dirty Dancing,” where some scenes for the film were filmed. Highlights included an outdoor screening of the film, a dance competition and performances by several top-notch beach music groups. More festival photos appear after the jump.
