Progressive officials chided
for arrogance, smugness

A recent government edict proclaimed this administration considers “Constitutionalists” as terrorists.

If we are no longer under the Constitution, what now dictates our lives? The U.N. Charter? Sharia law? Does “whim of man” now reign supreme?

Speaker (Nancy) Pelosi arrogantly quipped, “You’re joking, right?” when asked if what “progress-ocrats” were doing was constitutional. Does she know something patriotic Americans don’t?

“Rogue” politicians trample the people and the Constitution and smugly state, “That is what elections are for,” when called to task for their abuses.

After progressive President (Franklin) Roosevelt ignored the Constitution, term limits were imposed by the Democrats. After this misguided “flirt with socialism,” term limits are obviously necessary for Congress as well.

Also, allowing the “hired help” to run amok until next election has proven the detriment of America.

All states should have the right to recall any politician thwarting the will of the majority of his/her constituents or violating the U.S. Constitution any time during their term. Allowing the people to sign petitions demanding a recall would put power back where it belongs.

“Vote for us, then sit down and shut up” doesn’t cut it in America.

The “hire-and-fire” approach should apply to judges as well.

Are we facing the will
of a bloodthirsty god?

In 1993 Samuel Huntington wrote an article, “Clash of Civilzations,” and later a book with the same title. He predicted with uncanny accuracy that conflicts between religions and cultures would replace conflicts between  political philosophies and nation-states as the primary source of global problems. This is the world in which we now live.

If we are to survive, we must understand that we are at war with Islam, not with a few radicals, but with a religion which demands that all of us submit to the will of a bloodthirsty god as interpreted by bloodthirsty clerics who insist on dominating every aspect of people’s lives — it is a fanatic mixture of religious and political ideas, entirely incompatable with our traditions of individuality and human rights.

 The American monolith cannot defend itself against this threat because it is dominated by a secular religion which is, in its own way, is as fanatical as Islam — unfortunately it is fanatically weak and unmanly. It does not understand or accept that its secular, materialistic first principles will never be accepted by people who really believe in higher values, whether those values are Christian or Muslim. The American religion believes that there are no permanent truths, no incompatible belief systems, and, ultimately no values worth dying for.

A majority of Americans have adopted this secular religion, including millions who profess Christainity.

They tolerate the corrupt and incompetent government — Republican or Democrat, it is only a question of who will get to loot and pillage till the next election.

America is past any hope of redemption.What we have to do is identify the remnant who are willing to do what is necessary to preserve the traditions of Western civilization, educate them to understand that loyalty to the national government is treason to the ideals of our forefathers, and find a way to separate ourselves from the sort of people who would be ruled by Bush or Obama, Pelosi or Graham.

We must in the meantime reverse the degradation of our culture by the invasion of third-world aliens, whether Islamic or Hispanic. We must do whatever we can to make this country very uncomfortable for Islam — this is not a matter of freedom of religion, it is a matter of rooting out fifth columnists who are planting the seeds of conquest.

We face very long odds.

‘Take a Stand’ host accused
of sneakily backing Shuler

I am in hope that you will print this letter, as I am very tired of the dog and pony show that Matt Mittan on WWNCs 570 has been putting on of late. I used to like his show … now it’s a joke.

 It sure is obvious that Matt really likes Heath Shuler and will do whatever it takes to slam Jeff Miller. Really makes me wonder how much Shuler is paying him! Must be a lot. Maybe it’s even not legal. Matt even wanted to play one of Shuler’s commercial for free on his show.

 First, he says that Miller is not a serious candidate because he doesn’t stand up and answer all the lies that Shuler has been putting out against him. Then he slams Miller for just putting out press releases. However, Matt doesn’t even go to the press meetings that Miller has – no one from their great news station does! I guess Matt just wants Miller to spend a ton of money running ad spots on WWNC – only Miller doesn’t have all the Pelosi and Soros bucks that Shuler does. Matt should just go out and sell ads!

 Matt even goes so far as to say that except for the yes vote for Cap and Trade and the votes for Pelosi twice that Shuler made, there is probably no difference between the two candidates! Who is he kidding? There are a lot of differences between the two.

Besides, that’s like saying that except for the fact that so and so robbed a bank and then threw the guard in the river, he is the same as someone else! Those two votes could literally break this country. How could any sane person ever vote for Pelosi unless it was to save his own skin. And cap and trade — if it were to pass — could destroy this economy. I guarantee that Miller would never have made those votes. And Shuler would again if he has the chance!! Don’t kid yourself

Shuler also talks about how fiscally responsible he is. Did you know that the Congress has not had a budget for the past five years and just runs by adding more money to an expanding pool year after year? There is no control at all over it because there is nothing to control. No budget. Just an open ended tickeer tape ... What a sham. Where is Shuler on this? Where is Matt on this?  Shuler doesn’t even know what a budget is.

Matt needs to grow up, put out real news, and quit acting like a spoiled child.

Demo panel lambasted
for distorting FairTax plan

The attack ads sponsored by the DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) have started in North Carolina, so it is time for you to get the truth out about the FairTax Act.

The misleading ad says that a candidate that supports the FairTax wants to raise your taxes by 23 percent on everything and that we cannot afford the candidate. That the statement is well short of the truth ... if not a complete lie.

The FairTax does not raise taxes 23 percent, nor does it unfairly tax the poor. It is not a VAT (value-added tax) in addition to income taxes. The FairTax proposal is a comprehensive plan to replace federal income and payroll taxes, including personal, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security/Medicare, self-employment and corporate taxes and replaces these taxes with a progressive national retail sales tax.

The FairTax is dollar-for-dollar revenue replacement for the government and it includes a rebate to ensure that no American pays the FairTax up to the poverty level. Also included in the FairTax Plan is the repeal of the 16th Amendment to the Constitution.

The FairTax allows Americans to keep 100 percent of their paychecks (minus any state income taxes), ends corporate taxes and compliance costs hidden in the retail cost of goods and services, and fully funds the federal government while fulfilling the promise of Social Security and Medicare.
