From Daily Planet Staff Reports

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle spent the weekend of April 23-25 in Asheville for some rest and relaxation.
There were no scheduled public appearances or speeches during his visit, but the Obamas stopped at 12 Bones BBQ for supper on their way from the Asheville Regional Airport to the Grove Park Inn, where they stayed. Later, they hiked on the Blue Ridge Trail and played golf.

On April 24, the president played another round of golf and the first lady reportedly enjoyed the services of the GPI’s spa. They also toured the Biltmore Estate. That evening, they ate at The Corner Kitchen restaurant in Biltmore Village.

They had breakfast at the GPI on April 25 and visited evangelist Billy Graham in nearby Montreat before departing the area.
