Young people, likely students at adjoining UNC Asheville, savored the balmy temperatures on March 31 by relaxing on blankets spread on the greening grass in the Botanical Garden at Asheville. THE BGA will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a number of events, including an April 18 party marking the founding of the 10-acre native plant sanctuary.
