 Matt Mattin, a political independent, hosts Rep. Heath Shuler (background) in a radio town hall to address his constituents Aug. 27 on the proposed health care bill in a lively give-and-take on Mattin’s “Take a Stand” talk show on WWNC 570-AM in Asheville. A major upshot of the program was Shuler’s response to a caller who complained that Republicans were not given a chance to provide input on the original bill.
