Dr. Tim Johnson leaves the Buncombe County Republican Party in a much better shape than ever before.

He managed to pull together a diverse group of people that would stick to principles.

One of those principles was not to go along to get along. This did not go well with the usual power brokers in Buncombe. 

Do not worry. There are many young people that are committed to the party principles and I do believe that Dr. Johnson has found that in most counties the people like to be recognized by the folks from Raleigh.

 He will be for the people and will find those old power-brokers upset by someone that does not bow to their will.

We hate to see him go, but the state will be better off than ever before.
