Concert, car show prove to be people-pleasers

The finale of Music on Main Street summer concert series drew hundreds of people to downtown Hendersonville on Aug. 22. Also featured was a classic cruise-in car show. Atop page, the band Tuxedo Junction plays oldies and top 40 variety music, prompting everything from line dancing (above) and more intricate couples’ dancing (below). Below are two of the many classic cars that were on display at the event. The cars include (bottom right) a Shelby Cobra convertible and (below) an unidentified vintage vehicle.
