The band Me & The Boys performs in a free monthly concert on the back porch of the Wrinkled Egg in Flat Rock on June 7. The family-oriented series, presented by the Flat Rock Merchants Association, is held behind the shops on Little Rainbow Row. Attendees brought lawn chairs and blankets — and barbecue and other meal choices were available for purchase. Next in the series, Dana and Susan Robinson will perform at 6 p.m. July 5. The shops are located at the corner of Greenville Highway and West Blue Ridge Road, catercornered from the Flat Rock Playhouse. The summer music series is presented on the first Saturday evening of each month through October and features what it bills as regionally recognized musicians. Asheville Daily Planet Staff Photo
