Potential playoff tickets for the Asheville Tourists went on sale last Thursday morning at the McCormick Field box office.

The Tourists, who are battling to win the South Atlantic Leagueís Southern Division, would meet the Augusta GreenJackets on Sept. 5 upon qualifying for postseason play.

Asheville possibly could host four postseason games, including Sept. 5 against Augusta, Game 3 of the SAL championship on Sept. 13, Game 4 on Sept. 14 and Game 5 on Sept. 15.

Postseason tickets sold prior to Sept. 5 will be available at the discounted price of $10 for box seats and $7 for general admission. For box and premium season prices, contact the Touristsí front office at 258-0428. Tickets for the 2008 season also became available last Thursday.
