Sartreís ideas to be focus of final philosophy lecture

HENDERSONVILLE ó UNC Asheville senior philosophy major Amanda Lusky will wrap up the Universityís annual philosophy lecture series with a talk on ìResponsibility in the Thought of Jean Paul Sartreî at 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday at UNCAís Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd.

An open discussion will follow her talk. The event is open to the public. A donation of $5 will be suggested at the door.


The program is the final installment of a year-long, nine-part series co-sponsored by UNCAís Philosophy Department and the Institute for Applied Philosophy. Each year, the popular series is designed to foster discussion of philosophically significant issues.
