Bulldogs defeat Highlanders 5-3 to seal 1st ë07 series win

UNC Asheville topped Radford University 5-3 in baseball on Saturday afternoon to sweep the three-game series over the Highlanders.

The sweep was the Bulldogsí first in the Big South Conference since last season.

UNCA (16-23, 7-5) was led by Kyle Smith, who finished 3-for-5 with one RBI, and Elliott Arrington, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
